A Last Words Mystery

A Last Words Mystery Welcome to Harrow Bend, a small town where old secrets rarely stay buried and the dead sometimes get the final word. A Last Words Mystery follows Rowan Calloway, a reluctant psychic sleuth who returns to her hometown and inherits her grandmother’s herb shop, Calloway Herbs & Remedies. She also inherits something far less manageable: the Calloway gift. When Rowan is near someone who has died under unusual circumstances, she may hear their final words. The messages are brief, cryptic, and often more dangerous than helpful. They do not tell Rowan who committed the crime. They give her one last clue and leave her to uncover the truth. With her sharp instincts, an increasingly complicated relationship with Deputy Cal Mercer, and Clementine, an uncannily observant calico cat, Rowan investigates mysteries rooted in the people, history, and hidden grudges of Harrow Bend. Each book features a complete mystery that can be enjoyed on its own, while Rowan’s relationships, supernatural gift, and connection to her family’s past develop across the series. A Last Words Mystery blends small-town cozy mystery, paranormal suspense, family secrets, an amateur psychic sleuth, a touch of slow-burn romance, and a memorable cat. The series contains no explicit sexual content or graphic violence.
